Story : What is the next generation of retail design that is more significant

than just a commercial annex to fuel station? This question opened our design possibility to explore its greater role. Besides being a complimenting space that provides convenience to commuters, we envisioned its potential to become a destination that draws crowd from neighborhood to spend their time here for meal, coffee, shopping or just simply resting. From this possibility, “Playground” was the key idea we had in mind to craft playful space to delight every visitor. Under one roof, it contains shops, cafe, food court with a highlight of "Feature Court”. It was purposely designed as the main tall resting space interlaced with kiosks, trees, tables and benches. Multi-level-elevated bridge is located right in the centre, functions as a feature element where visitors could enjoy a quieter space with different lookout perspectives.
